唐贞观元年（627年）废池州，所领秋浦、南陵二县来属宣州，省丹阳入当涂。时宣州领宣城、绥安、当涂、泾县、溧阳、溧水、秋浦、南陵八县。①治宣城。②天宝元年（742年）改为宣城郡。③
